Early life & Family
Ali was born on December 1, 1988, into a Punjabi Muslim family in Lahore, Punjab. His father was a government employee, and his mother worked as a teacher. As the only child of his parents, Ali pursued a business degree with a specialization in finance, fulfilling his parents’ wishes for him to prepare for the Central Superior Services (CSS) exam and join the civil service. However, his true passion lay in acting.
Following his passion, Ali earned a Master’s degree in Multimedia Arts from the prestigious National College of Arts. It was during an internship program at Samaa TV that he met his future wife, Sana Farooq. They married on March 3, 2016, and welcomed their daughter, Amirah Ali, in 2017.

Ali began his career as a theater actor in 2007 before transitioning to the news and programming department of a TV channel. From 2009 to 2011, he honed his skills as an assistant producer at Samaa TV. Since 2011, Ali has continued to showcase his talent and expertise as a producer at Geo TV.

Marking his television debut as a leading actor in 2015 with the drama Ishq Ibadat, Ali quickly became a prominent figure in the industry.
